Tween, teen and young adult psychotherapy

We offer therapy based on the individual need of each client and/ or family. Our approach to therapy is to collaborate with our clients in understanding their goals, and tailoring interventions accordingly. The clinical approaches we utilize include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychoeducation, play therapy, attachment and relational therapies, interpersonal neurobiology and basic mindfulness training. We are here to support you in:

  • Negotiating developmental milestones (eg. entering adolescence, leaving home for college)

  • Developing effective tools to manage symptoms of ADHD, anxiety or depression

  • Learning coping skills to help manage intense emotions

  • Increasing self awareness and self esteem

  • Identifying strengths and using them in new, creative ways

  • Incorporating self- care into daily life (hobbies, healthy diet, exercise, mindfulnness, relationships with others)
