Tween, teen and young adult psychotherapy
We offer therapy based on the individual need of each client and/ or family. Our approach to therapy is to collaborate with our clients in understanding their goals, and tailoring interventions accordingly. The clinical approaches we utilize include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychoeducation, play therapy, attachment and relational therapies, interpersonal neurobiology and basic mindfulness training. We are here to support you in:
Negotiating developmental milestones (eg. entering adolescence, leaving home for college)
Developing effective tools to manage symptoms of ADHD, anxiety or depression
Learning coping skills to help manage intense emotions
Increasing self awareness and self esteem
Identifying strengths and using them in new, creative ways
Incorporating self- care into daily life (hobbies, healthy diet, exercise, mindfulnness, relationships with others)
